Is Your Vision Becoming Duller With Age?

why-is-your-vision-becoming-cloudy

If colours seem less vibrant or your vision has become cloudy, hazy or less defined, changes within the eye’s natural lens may be responsible.

In this video, Dr Glenn Carp explains how two transparent structures at the front of the eye, the cornea and natural lens, work together to focus light correctly. While the cornea should remain clear, the natural lens can gradually become cloudy with age, preventing light from reaching the retina as efficiently as it once did.

By replacing the cloudy natural lens with a clear artificial lens, it is possible to restore the eye’s clarity and improve the way light is focused. This can help patients see the world with brighter colours, sharper detail and clearer vision once again.
