Dr Yijun Cai is a Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellow at London Vision Clinic, with specialist expertise in corneal disease, cataract surgery, laser vision correction and refractive surgery. Throughout his career, he has trained at many of the UK’s leading ophthalmic centres, including King’s College Hospital, Moorfields Eye Hospital, Kingston Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, before undertaking an advanced Cornea Fellowship at King’s College Hospital.
Alongside his clinical training, Dr Cai has built a strong academic and research profile. He graduated from Barts and The London Medical School, achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and was awarded a Distinction in the Postgraduate Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery (PgDipCRS). His research has been published in leading journals including the British Journal of Ophthalmology, Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Cornea and Ophthalmology Retina.
