Is There An Upper Age Limit For Laser Eye Surgery?
Mr Glenn Carp explains at present we do not believe there is an upper age limit. But extensive screening process at London Vision Clinic highlights suitability for Laser Eye Surgery regardless of age. Click to see the video.
“The London Vision Clinic really couldn’t be more professional, helpful or make you feel more at ease. Prior to my surgery I felt anxious but during, before and after the clinic staff reassured me that it would be fine, which it been together with pain free. I couldn’t be happier with the results.” -Paola Nyderek.
At present we believe there is no upper age limit for Laser Eye Surgery providing that the eye is healthy and that the patient is healthy so all patients at the London Vision Clinic undergo extensive ocular review. We look at both the front and back of the eye from a Lasik perspective as well as eye health and should the eye be healthy and the patient shows an obvious benefit in testing to have Laser Eye Surgery, then certainly they can be a candidate at any age.
Suitability Explained Further…
No, there is no upper age limit for Laser Eye Surgery, as long as your eyes are healthy. Some older patients experience a longer healing period after Laser Eye Surgery, but we can discuss this with you at your initial screening
