When Can I Drive After Laser Eye Surgery?
Most patients will be able to drive the day after surgery. Here, at London Vision Clinic, 98% of our patients are up to the legal driving standard or better on the first day after surgery. The surgeon will conduct a full and thorough consultation the day after your treatment and will advise you as to whether you are able to drive. The surgeon may recommend that you wait a day or two before you drive, until your sight becomes completely stable.
If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
We advise you not to drive until after the 1st day aftercare appointment. Driving short distances after the 1st day appointment after surgery is acceptable if we confirm adequate vision at the evaluation.
